LUDACRIS at MUSIK FEST.

Picture the scene: it's 2002, Facebook doesn't exist yet, neither YouTube; but there was a word everyone could relate to. As well as a growing artist... If you can think back to the late 90's & early 2000's, "dominance" doesn't do justice to this voice of hip-hop/rap.
Enter Ludacris at Musik Fest.
Fast-forward 22 years, it's become even more Ludacris. And I had the pleasure of experiencing this show at the 2024 Musik Fest.
Musik Fest is a personal favorite of mine. For over a week's span in the month of August, the entire town of Bethlehem, PA closes down for an arts, food, and music festival.
I first attended the festival in 2023 and knew immediately I had to return for more. Beautiful location, awesome crowd, amazing food & music... and lest I remind you that event entry is free. FREE! (apart from the main stage), but don't let that distract you from seeing countless stages of local musicians and vendors.
A great event for all-ages. I can claim a few pieces from the event I will hang on to.
But on to the main event.
The intro starts with an accumulation of work. Because if you remember the commercial from above, there has be a lot. And just before things get started, an homage is paid to a great movie: Spaceballs.
Then wham, things get Ludacris.
No breaks, no rest, just hit after hit we all know.
And the crowd didn't let up either. But not one of those crowds you feel uncomfortable around, everyone there was purely around to party.
The lights and sound, all perfect. Visuals on a massive LED board kept the crowd's full attention.
And to Musik Fest 2025 I shall be going.
