The year is 2006. The Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 4 launch to the public, Twitter makes its debut, YouTube is named "Invention of the Year" by Time Magazine, the Tesla Roadster rolls out, the movie "Crash" is the Oscar winner for Best Film, and Hellogoodbye explodes into the viral music scene with "Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!"

Formed in 2001 in Huntington Beach, California by singer Forrest Kline, the band joined The Early November to bring the "20 Years Young" Tour to Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ with a no-skip experience of the album.

"Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!" was released in August 2006 and I remember it serving as popular summer music on the radio (it also marked the start of my freshman year in high school, but that's another story). Adding 20 years since the release of the album makes for a special reunion show. Not only was it a class reunion for those that enjoyed the music when it was released, but it also introduced a new generation to the band. The crowd was filled with both original fans and new fans born since the album's release celebrating all the tracks together front-to-back, no skips. Marking the 4th stop for the tour, Starland Ballroom is the perfect venue to experience big songs that helped to define a decade while not feeling overwhelmed. In fact, it was the opposite; the sound, lighting, and setup draws the crowd in to the stage to make it much more interactive than just standing and listening to the music. It was quite the scene to see a string of LED lights snake its way through the crowd to help close out Hellogoodbye's set. The perfect touch to get the crowd involved and and feel connected while painting an awesome visual, gently illuminating the crowd celebrating the album that debuted as #1 on the Independent Album chart.
